First edition, with a dedication by the author on the front flyleaf. Description: Original illustrated wrappers, with the glassine cover. Octavo: 18 × 12.5 cm; pp. xi, 310. Provenance: Bookplate of the artist Paul Monnier (original woodcut by André Raphoz after a drawing by P. Monnier, 1934). Condition: Covers show some marginal wear to corners, edges and spine ends, a small tear on upper joint, small marginal tear on 2 pages. Portrait of Marinetti (newspaper clipping) pasted on front pastedown. Four other loose newspaper clippings inserted. Notes: The original edition was incorrectly dated 1910 on the front cover. On the title page, the year of publication was correctly given as 1909 (as on this copy).
