Description: Original tangerine cloth backed over tangerine boards; spine and upper board lettered in white. Octavo: 25 × 18 cm; pp.: viii, 358, [2]. With folding plates numbered 1–78 and 448 illustrations printed in text. Text in german.
Provenance: Neat ownership stamp of Inz. Andrzej Luszczynski on several plates.
Condition: Binding shows wear to corners and edges, some soiling and a few stains. Title on spine, colour almost completely detached. Contents with slight age toning, signs of wear and occasional spotting to margins of some leaves at fore-edge. Despite the faults described, still a good copy.
Notes: The landmark reference work by the famous German naval architect Artur Tiller. Tiller’s designs covered a wide range of vessels, including cruising yachts, racing yachts, dinghies, sailing canoes and motorboats of various sizes.
