Description: Original quarter buff cloth with blue paper-covered boards and printed paper label to front. Sextodecimo: 15 × 10 cm; pp. 113, [3]. With wood engraved frontispiece ‘Girl and Cow’ and the Eragny device (3rd stage). Set in Vale-type, printed on Arnold’s unbleached hand made paper with Vale watermark.

Condition: Spine and covers showing some abrasions and marks of usage, ink stain at foot of front cover. Usual light age tanning to free endpapers and some foxing to endpapers. Contents clean and free of marks. Despite the occasional minor blemish, a very good copy.
