Notes: Domenic Geissbühler (*1932) became known worldwide for his work for British Airways and the Zurich Opera House, for which he took over the design of the posters from 1976. For decades, his unique poster designs helped the Zurich Opera House to create an independent image, which also effectively transferred its artistic ambitions into the public space. He received the prestigious Toulouse-Lautrec Medal in 1987 and the special prize of the Centre Pompidou in 1990 for his design work.
