Officina Elzeviriana, Amsterdam, 1662
Second edition by Officina Elzeviriana. Willems writes that the editions of 1662 and the subsequent one of 1679 correspond “line for line” with the first edition of 1655. The Amsterdam print corresponds to the 1636 and 1643 editions by Bonaventura and Abraham.
Description: Contemp. full vellum with yapped edges, upper cover blocked in blind ‘H.E.T 1677’. Vigesimo-quarto: 14 × 8 cm; pp. lx, 672. With engraved frontispiece by Corn.[elis] Cl.[aeszoon] Du[y]send. Red edges.
Provenance: Handwritten name inscriptions on the front flyleaf: Ernest Chabaud Latour and C.C. Poppermuller, sum, A.E. Langejan, anno 1706.
